Maranta Red Prayer

This plants origins are from the tropics in Brazil and it loves to dance in the moonlight. It gets its nickname "prayer plant" from its leaves folding up at night, which mimics hands praying. It's been said they do this to make sure their roots get access to rainfall. 

Sunlight:Low to bright indirect light. Direct light will burn his leaves.

Water:Once a week. Soil can stay slightly moist.

Pets:Great with pets.
